Welcome to Goat Karma, another one of those pretty pointless interwebspacethingies where I divulge possibly too much personal information. Goat Karma V2.5(or something) was all about looong boring blog entries. Goat Karma v3.0 (or GKOC: Goat Karma on Crack), is all about short snappy entries using tumblr to share photos/videos/audio/links and...stuff

Oops!:

This looks like one of those crazy ‘I hate my ex and am going to destroy every photo of them’ photos! It’s not, it’s just development gone bad!!
Used the taco method to dev a 5x4 sheet, except stupidly put the emulsion side pointing outwards so the the massive mark you see is the elastic band preventing development!!
2nd stupid mistake was to not have a squigee and try using a small sponge to wipe off the excess water. Unfortunately the sponge had hundreds of fibres that transferred to the neg!
3rd mistake was rubbing the neg with my fingers trying to remove the line!!
Ah well, live and learn! I’m glad I sent my first ‘proper’ 5x4s off to get developed instead!
Still learning to use the 5x4 and get the most out of the DOF, unfortunately it means half of beth’s head is out of focus..oops!
Anyways, teachy details:
Cambo Sc 5x4/Schneider 150mm symmar-s, Ilford Delta 100, developed in DDX(that stuff is SO wasteful at 4:1, but the only thing available locally!). Scanned with HP G4050 (still trying to learn scanning with that thing!).
